Affording America: How a single mother in Chicago turned to gig work to survive

Jade Crossfrench is a single mother supporting three children with a day job selling insurance. But that isn't enough to provide for her family. For over a year she's been making extra money as a gig worker, doing DoorDash food deliveries around Chicago, often with her kids sitting in the back seat of the car.
