Trump had told Axios he expected talks to resume a day after he rejected Iran’s proposal to reopen the strait of Hormuz
Donald Trump is in Washington today. He’ll start the day in closed-door meetings before speaking to reporters at 2pm ET, when he’s set to make an announcement. This comes just days after hosting China’s president Xi Jinping in Washington, and a private White House dinner on Sunday with Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, according to various reports.
Amodei was unable to make the state dinner to welcome Xi last week, where other AI company CEOs like Sam Altman and Elon Musk were in attendance.
