September 11 through the lens of a paramedic

Former FDNY paramedic Roger Smyth shares his photographs taken on September 11, and reflects on partnering with FDNY paramedic Trinh K. Dinh, to care for survivors after both got separated from their regular partners. He also captured the moments Trinh and her partner, Ronnie Coyne, reunited after Ronnie was thought to be lost in the collapse at Ground Zero. Roger’s partner also survived the chaos at Ground Zero.
