9/11 first responders push for coverage of dementia

NBC News’ Tom Llamas reports for the series “The Cost of Denial” about the emerging health crisis 25 years after the attacks of 9/11, the first responders now being diagnosed with dementia. Researchers believe the condition is connected to exposure to toxins at Ground Zero, but dementia is not one of the conditions covered by the World Trade Center Health Program.
